The Valley City Country Club was established in 1916 with the purpose to promote an interest in outdoor recreation and social and friendly interactions with other members of the community and organization, as well as the goal to build and maintain a golf course. The actual construction of the course and clubhouse began in 1921, a layout of the course was created courtesy of E.H. McFarland. Although the building and course have been up for nearly 100 years, the Valley City Country Club has continued to evolve and change over time. In addition to the golf course, Trestles Bar & Grill is located inside the clubhouse, offering customers and members a place to gather and socialize. In the lower level of the clubhouse is The Bunker - a large-sized private room that can be used for many family-friendly events.
Our final day of operation was Friday, November 11, 2022, and we plan to open again in the spring. We would like to thank our dedicated staff for their service as well as all of our loyal customers. We hope to see you all in the spring!
